St Edmund Hall’s Communications Manager conducted a web accessibility audit on 7 April 2022. The UK Government’s basic accessibility checklist was used in conjunction with the free Site Improve Accessibility Checker Chrome Extension.

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

The images have no alt attribute. This fails WCAG 1.1.1 A Non-text Content.

The images contain text. This fails WCAG 1.4.5 AA Images of Text.

There are WCAG Info and Relationships 1.3.1 errors.

The colour contrast is insufficient. This fails WCAG 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) and WCAG 1.4.6 AAA Contrast (Enhanced).

The headings are not properly nested. This fails WCAG 2,4,10 AAA.
