It is only with the help of our alumni and friends that we will be able to reach our £50m campaign goal, featuring an exciting Norham St Edmund project that will at last allow us to accommodate all undergraduates across all years and be at the forefront of net zero building design and construction.

A new sustainable living space for St Edmund Hall

In January 2023, Teddy Hall was granted planning permission for the development of 127 study bedrooms and communal facilities housed in a mixture of new buildings and a remodelled Victorian villa at the Hall’s Norham St Edmund accommodation site in North Oxford.

The Hall has raised £7.5m out of £15m towards this project and we will only be able to reach our goal with the support of our alumni and friends. Gifts as small as £50 can make a real difference in this once-in-a-generation development, helping to make the Hall more accessible, inclusive and environmentally sustainable.

Our £50m ($67m) campaign comprises a menu of interlocking projects, programmes and needs.

Tuition fees, residential income from students and commercial/conferencing activity only meet 75% of the Hall’s £10m ($13.5m) annual operating budget. Your help is crucial in closing the gap.
